Paula Deen will be the special guest for tea and conversation on Memorial Day Monday May 26, 2014 at Lexington’s Carrick House at 312 N. Limestone in downtown Lexington.

Tea will be served at half past two.

Reverend James Sichko says proceeds from the event “will benefit scholarships for elementary school children to attend St. Mark Catholic School,” Fr. Sichko explained. “And, out of the respect we have for our veterans, proceeds from this Memorial Day event will also go to the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides support programs and services for wounded veterans. As well, a donation will be given to The Bag Lady Foundation, the charity which Ms. Deen helped found in 2012.”

General tickets are $100 each. VIP tickets are $500 each and include a special “meet & greet” session with Ms. Deen. Tickets are available only on the St. Mark website (at saintmarkcatholicchurch. net)
