Join the Transylvania community as they join service projects with our non-profit partners in celebration of the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. This year they will be working at a number of sites; information for sign-ups will be posted on TNotes. All participants will meet in the Campus Center Gym at 1 p.m. and depart to their sites from there. Please email nbegin@transy.edu for more information.

Join for a community gathering to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. VISTA from across Lexington, members of Transy and the greater Lexington community are invited to join us for a reading of MLK’s most famous speeches. Then participate in community discussion on how lessons from his speech can serve as guidance for race relations in the U.S. present day. Coffee and light snacks will be served. Open to the public.
