On May 22, the Carnegie Center for Learning & Literacy hosts readings from R Dean Johnson’s “Californium,” Shayla Lawson’s “I Think I’m Ready to See Frank Ocean,” and Kathryn Ormsbee’s “Tash Hearts Tolstoy.”

The event starts at 6 pm, with a 25-minute open-mic session to give the audience a chance to participate. At 6:30 the readings by featured authors will begin, followed by a book signing.
