Bourbon n’ Toulouse will be hosting the Empty Bowls charity event starting at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 to benefit Moveable Feast, a charity that delivers meals to low-income HIV/AIDs patients in Lexington.

“In case you haven’t been to an Empty Bowls charity event held annually at Bourbon n’ Toulouse restaurant, allow us to explain how it works. Local artists and clay enthusiasts spend the summer making handmade ceramic bowls at their studious or at Kentucky Mudworks’ “Bowl-a-thon” events.

These bowls are then brought to Bourbon n’ Toulouse restaurant for the Empty Bowls charity event. During the event, everyone is invited to pick out a bowl (or two or three), give a $15 donation per bowl and receive a delicious Cajun meal provided by Bourbon n’ Toulouse. Libations can also be purchased, and a good time is guaranteed by all!”
