Community Square Dance to benefit WMMT 88.7 FM, Kentucky’s Mountain Community Radio Station

Join fellow Kentuckians on Wednesday, September 19 for a big ol’ square dance at the West 6th Brewery to benefit WMMT 88.7 FM, a community radio station in Whitesburg, Ky. that serves the Appalachian mountains of southeast Kentucky and beyond. The moderately-notorious T-Claw will call the dance, and the Fork in the Road Mobile Galley will be on hand with a special Appalachian-inspired menu, a portion of which proceeds will go to benefit WMMT. No square dancing experience (at all!) is necessary; the dance begins at 7 and there is a $10 suggested donation to dance (this doesn’t cover food).
