New companies and teams  pitch their products, services and ideas.

5 Across consists of 5 individuals or teams who pitch their ideas within a 5 minute time frame.

The event begins at 5 p.m. and costs $5 for entry, including catered food.

The best pitch, as decided by a panel of four judges, will receive $500 as a prize, accompanied by a small trophy.
