Mt. Sterling October Court Days Live Music Schedule for 2021

The Mt. Sterling/Montgomery County Tourism Commission and presenting sponsor of the festival, Community Trust Bank, announced the live music line up for Saturday and Sunday of the 2021 October Court Days festival.

  

Live music will play on Saturday, October 17 from 10-6 pm and Sunday, October 18 from 11-6 pm on two soundstages. The Main Stage will be behind Monarch Mill on South Maysville and the second stage will be behind Main Cross on the city lot between Main Street and Locust Street. Both locations will also have a hospitality area with maps and information.

 

Saturday live music begins at noon with Brad Alford, followed by Barry Reed, Hannah Wheeler, Duke & The Boys, Richmond-Stone, Meg Allen.

 

Sunday will kick off at 11 am with Gospel music from The Refinery Church and guests, followed by The New Beckham County Ramblers, Clark Kissick, Dreyden Gordon, and the 2nd Annual Court Day Square Dance from 2-4 pm with Swift Silver, The Local Honeys and guests.

 

The Court Day Express will also provide free train rides on Saturday from 9 am – 6 pm and on Sunday from 10 am – 5 pm for patrons to easily travel within the October Court Days festival.

 

October Court Days, Kentucky’s longest running festival is October 15-18 throughout historic downtown Mt. Sterling. October Court Days began in 1794 when the Kentucky General Assembly decided that each county should meet once a month to hold court. This day became an annual trading day where people came from miles around to buy, sell, and trade. Now, the festival attracts thousands of visitors from all over the world to enjoy hundreds of vendors that include handmade crafts, antiques, tools, clothing, collectibles, and a huge selection of food and live music.
