Mother’s Day Brunch at noon at The Bell House (545 Sayre Avenue). “Come enjoy a special one of a kind brunch celebrating new and expecting mothers. An awesome speaker will provide encouraging words to help you through the first few years of your baby’s life along with giveaways. All are welcome to attend. Wallace Station is creating a hot Kentucky Proud Breakfast on May 7 (to celebrate Derby Day) and May 8 (to celebrate Mother’s Day). Chef Ethan Bowling and his staff will serve a buffet on the Wallace Station lawn from 9 am – noon. The menu includes: Vegetarian Strata made with Clark Family Farm eggs, with house-made salsa; Country Rock Maple Baked Ham; Grilled Woodford; Weisenberger Cheese Grits, and more. There will also be live music on the back porch with the Pawpaw Pickers Saturday and Sunday during buffet hours.

Mother’s Day Brunch Cruise at 11:30 am at the Belle of Louisville. “Show Mom how much she means to you by giving her a special day to remember, and bring the whole family on the historic Belle of Louisville for a two-hour Ohio River cruise. Include the brunch buffet (guaranteed inside seating, advance reservations required) or choose sightseeing only (upstairs, all-weather outside seating without the buffet) and enjoy a relaxing and fun experience.”
Mother’s Day Brunch with beer and The Gastro Gnomes starting at noon at Blue Stallion Brewing.
Brasabana will be serving a special Mother’s Day menu all day, including creamed crusted snapper, pollo tamale, and blackened salmon. Their brunch, from 11 am – 3 pm, will include huevos Havana and sparkling sorbet mimosas.
Copper Roux on 861 South Broadway serves a Mother’s Day Buffet at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:30 pm. Offering various stations including breakfast, salad, entrée, carving, and a dessert selection for the whole family. The menu includes shrimp gazpacho soup, Louisiana fried catfish, smoked beef brisket, and crab cakes with remoulade sauce, among many others. Desserts include New Orleans bread pudding with Kentucky bourbon sauce, Blue Ribbon banana pudding, and strawberry Bavarian.
Chef Ranada’s Creative Table on 185 Pasadena Drive hosts a Mother’s Day Brunch from 10 am – 2 pm. All you can eat buffet featuring salads, teriyaki salmon, beef tenderloin medallions with burgundy mushroom gravy, spiral ham, applewood bacon, quiche, bourbon mashed sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, au gratin potatoes, assorted house-baked breads, scones, muffins, and more. With acoustic music by Kelly Richey.
The Griffin Gate Marriott serves Mother’s Day brunch at JW’s steakhouse, including smoked salmon and a variety of dessert stations. Brunch is served 11 am – 2:30 pm.
Lockbox hosts a Mother’s Day Brunch from 9:30 am – 2 pm. The three-course, prix fixe menu by executive chef Jonathan Searle includes Kentucky Croque with country ham, collards, fried sunny egg and cracked pepper gravy, or the Skuna Bay Salmon with asparagus, farm radish, spring onion, and golden beet skordalia.

Woodford Reserve Distillery hosts a Mother’s Day Lunch at 1 pm. The four-course meal is prepared by Woodford Reserve Chef de Cuisine Nat Nenton. First course: Barrel stave grilled salmon, served with a bourbon honey glaze and Woodford county pea shoots. Second Course: Spring Pea, organic sunflower shoots, pea shoots, snap peas, snowpeas and english pea, radish, baby beet, toasted hazelnut, capriole goat cheese with a Double Oaked miso vinaigrette. Third Course: Hot Brown Croquette, roasted turkey, black forest ham, parmesan mornay, rolled, breaded and pan fried with tomato bacon jam. Fresh asparagus, weisenberger cheese grits. Fourth Course: Flavor wheel parfait, layers of white chocolate mousse, fresh mascerated berries and toasted hazelnuts.
