What’s open and what’s closed in Lexington, KY for Thanksgiving 2015? Thanksgiving is celebrated on Thursday November 26, 2015.

LFUCG offices will be closed Thursday November 26 and Friday November 27, 2015. Circuit and District Court will be closed on Thanksgiving, November 26, 2015.

All post offices will be closed November 26, Thanksgiving Day.

All Lexington public libraries will be closed Thanksgiving Day.

Banks are closed Thanksgiving Day.

Thanksgiving Trash Collection Schedule: There will be no trash collection on Thanksgiving Day. Those who normally have Thursday trash pickup should put their Herbies out Tuesday evening for Wednesday pickup, the day before the holiday.

LexPark will not enforce meter regulations on Friday, November 27.

Keeneland is closed Thanksgiving November 26, and Friday November 27.

Whole Foods will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 8 am – 4 pm.

Good Foods is open 9 am – 5 pm Thanksgiving Day.

Kroger Pharmacies are closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Walgreens and CVS will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving Day.

Rite-Aid most locations will be open from 8 am – 5 pm on Thanksgiving.

McConnell Springs and Raven Run are closed on Thanksgiving.

Park offices are closed November 26 & 27.

Community Centers are closed November 26 & 27.

Barnes and Noble will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
