Lexington Fayette Urban County Council Member Ed Lane has died at the age of 73, according to the Lane Report, the magazine he founded. Lane Communications Group was on offshoot of Lane Consultants, the commercial real estate brokerage group he founded.
He was currently serving his fourth term as councilperson for Lexington’s 12th District.
A service is planned for 7 pm August 15 at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Harrodsburg Road, according to the Lane Report.
