MayFest is Saturday and Sunday in Gratz Park, offering a variety of vendors, arts, crafts, and concessions.

The Mother’s Day Tea Festival is at Queen’s Palace on 1400 North Broadway from 10 am – 5 pm. Vendor fair.

The Kentucky Magic Dinner Theatre Mother’s Day Weekend Show is at the Hyatt on 401 W High St. from 6:30 – 9 pm.

SUNDAY May 10, 2015

Azur offers a Mother’s Day Brunch from 11 am – 2 pm. Starters include blue crab cake, lobster crepes, and crispy brie. Entrees include a lamb rack, chicken and sage hash, bourbon fried chicken, and bourbon smoked salmon benedict. Call 859.296.1007 for reservations.

Road trip? The Belle of Louisville offers a brunch cruise, starting at 11:30 am, and a dinner cruise, starting at 5:30 pm. The two-hour cruise on the historic steamboat includes a buffet, or you can choose sightseeing only.

Mother’s Day Brunch with Gastro Gnomes at Blue Stallion at 1 pm.  There will also be special beer-mosas for the occasion, and rumor has it that Blue Stallion might be tapping a special new test batch brew.

Dudley’s will offer a 3-course prix fixe menu on Mother’s Day. Reservations recommended.

Jean Farris Winery offers a special Prix Fixe Menu all day Mother’s Day 2015, May 10. Options include roasted red pepper bisque, lobster salad, halibut, lavender roasted leg of lamb, and two desserts: Italian wedding cake and strawberry tart. Vegeterian and vegan options available. The regular menu will not be available.

Lexington Diner, at the corner of Upper and Short, offers an array of Mother’s Day brunch options. They will be serving a Kentucky Proud menu inspired by Rona Roberts’ Classic Kentucky Meals.

My Old Kentucky Dinner Train hosts a Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 10. Enjoy views of Kentucky’s countryside and a three-course brunch over this two-hour excursion.

Natasha’s offers a Mother’s Day Buffet for brunch. Options include cooked to order omelette, applewood bacon and sausage, chicken cordon bleu, a trio of desserts, and a variety of salads.

Sal’s offers a Mother’s Day brunch buffet. Items include filet mignon, chicken tenders, a variety of salads, and a chocolate fountain. You’ll get your own table with white linen cloth and your own server.

The Shakespeare and Co downtown location at 367 Short Street will be offering a special Mother’s Day Buffet from 10:30 am through 2 pm. Call for reservations. Options include seared salmon, carved roast beef, shrimp and grits, and eggs frittata. There will also be assorted mini desserts.

Whole Foods in Lexington Green is offering to treat Mom on Mother’s Day at their buffet (limit one plate per Mom please).

Lee Carroll’s Soul Jazz Summit Mother’s Day Brunch is at Willie’s on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10. Featuring Lee Carroll, Willie Eames, David Farris, Smith Donaldson, Jay Crutcher Crutcher, Tripp Bratton, Chase Fleming, and surprise guests playing soul, jazz, and funk from the 60’s and 70’s (Grant Green, Herbie Hancock, Jack McDuff, Eddie Harris, Cannonball Adderly, etc).
