Submission Guidelines: Annual Charity Wish List issue

Ace’s 21st Annual GIVING Guide, highlighting the Wish Lists of area charities, will be on stands November 24, the day before Thanksgiving.

Local 501c3s who want to be considered for this issue should submit:

  • the top 5 things they WISH for from the Ace Readers 

(please be specific: instead of “supplies,” ask for “paper towels” — instead of “volunteers” specify “Volunteers to rake leaves or cut grass” or “answer phones every Tuesday morning”).

  • organization’s name; 501c3 status; contact name; email; website; phone number; and street address. 

Plus: a story that tells the Ace Readers about the organization’s mission in two or three sentences (e.g., “last weekend we delivered 64 lunches…”)

Local non-profits should email their Wish Lists no later than November 12 to acelist @ aceweekly.com. Please include a jPeg, and write WISH LIST in the subject line.
