Austin acid rockers SCORPION CHILD‘s full-length debut will be released June 25th a.  The album was produced & arranged by Chris “Frenchie” Smith (The Answer, Jet, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, The Toadies, Dax Riggs) and recorded using analog recording technology.

Folk-based Nashville band Harpeth Rising is touring in support of their third album (debuted in the Top Ten on the International Folk Charts), and will be playing in Lexington at Natasha’s Bistro on May 28th at 8:00pm.  They are a classically trained group of musicians with influences in folk, bluegrass, and Celtic music.  Instrumentation is violin, banjo, cello, and percussion.
