The 7th annual Lexington Rescue Mission Walk for Warmth will be held at 9:45 am Saturday, Feb. 28 at Pheonix Park. The event will benefit the Homeless Prevention Program, which helps families facing eviction or having their heat or other utilities shut off. Walkers raise donations, and can then join for a 2-mile trek through Downtown Lexington to raise awareness of homelessness and hunger in our community. Light breakfast and lunch provided. The 8th Annual Fairness Awards Dinner is at Keeneland at 6 pm on Friday, June 26. “Each year in the month of June, Lexington Fairness presents the annual Fairness Awards fundraiser as a part of Lexington’s pride month festivities.
