Cosmic Invasion, Woodland Park
Cosmic’s 8th annual skateboard competition and live music event is taking over Woodland Park. Pro skaters Shuriken Shannon, Brendan Keaveny, Jon Cosentino, and Darius ‘Woogie’ Jackson from Ipath Footwear will be there skating, judging, and giving out free tacos. Bands from Kentucky and surrounding states include: Elephant Room, Cinema Sleep, Marina City, Opossum Holler, Lines in The Sky, and This Season’s Color. The event is free to attend and $5 to compete.

Francisco Farm Arts Fest, Midway
On Saturday, June 22 (10:00 am-6:00 pm), and Sunday, June 23 (10:00 am-5:00 pm), the 10th annual Francisco’s Farm Arts Festival will be held at Equus Run Vineyards, featuring over 100 artists, shopping, food, live music (the special Saturday Evening Concert’s tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids under 12), interactive art events, and activities for kids. $10 will be charged per vehicle , though no additional fees for parking will be charged. Francisco’s Farms Arts Festival is brought to you by the Lexington Art League, Midway Renaissance, Inc., & Equus Run Vineyards.

Lexington July 4 Parade 2013
The Lexington July 4 parade will line up on Midland Avenue, between Third and Main streets, and travel down Main Street to Broadway.
The parade at 2 pm is part of a day-long festival that begins with the Bluegrass 10,000 foot race, includes a large street fair, and ends with a fireworks display at 10 p.m.

The Bluegrass Classic Dog Shows is a 5-day event featuring over 1400 dogs, more than 20 vendors, health clinics, Meet the Breeds sessions and daily Best In Show Competition. Fun for the whole family – come meet the breeders and exhibitors, cheer for your favorite breed or meet a new one.
The Bluegrass Classic Dog Shows will once again be held indoors in the Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
