The Chamber Music Festival of Lexington brings together a quintet of nationally recognized musicians for three formal concerts at the Fasig-Tipton Pavilion.  Its core group of musicians is led by Music director Nathan Cole, first Associate Concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Pianist Alessio Bax, violist Burchard Tang, cellist Priscilla Lee, and violinist Akiko Taramoto complete the ensemble. This year’s guest artist is Allegra Lilly, principal harpist of the St. Louis Symphony.

Dog Paddle, Woodland Park

Lexington’s annual Dog Paddle is 9 am to 3 pm on September 6th at the Woodland Park Pool. Your dog must be up to date on all shots and vaccinations to play. Owners are invited to bring their dogs out for a swim (Sorry, no humans allowed), with all proceeds benefiting the creation and maintenance of dog parks in Fayette County. Info, 859.288-2980.
