Watershed Festival!

Thursday, May 2nd 6-8pm

Love our planet?  Want to help keep it healthy?  Join the LASC and special guest educators from LFUCG’s Division of Environmental Quality and Bluegrass PRIDE for an informative and fun hands-on night of EcoH2O activities!  Explore water quality and conservation topics through a variety of activities and demonstrations.  Learn about watersheds and how the movement of water effects water quality. Put on a costume and be a player in our storm drain drama, learn about point and non-point pollution at the enviroscape table, classify macro invertebrates and lean about how water quality effects all aquatic life, make a fabulous fish print, go “fishing” for pollution to identify types, and more!  Enter our Rain Barrel Raffle for a chance to win your very own barrel!  Also, take home easy tips to make sure your home and yard are water wise!
