Every Sunday in September, Moveable Feast Lexington will sponsor a gathering at a different historic, architecturally significant Lexington home with a special host to celebrate art, music, and literature. These events are being called September Sunday Salons. Each event will be uniquely styled by the individual hosts. Each Sunday program will serve up food, drink, and plenty of interaction with the arts and fine art collections.
On Sunday, September 21st, historian and author David Burg will open his 1920s Craftsman home, showing his art collection detailing a lifelong love of art and artist. Kentucky poet laureate Frank X Walker will read from his new fiction manuscript, The Devil Is Beating His Wife.
Call Moveable Feast Lexington at 859.252-2867 for ticket info, prices, and reservations. Attendance will be strictly kept at small numbers to ensure a unique experience, and space is limited. All salons will be from 2:30 pm till 5:30 pm.
