Recycled Percussion, Centre College

September 23 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Share

“Straight from the Las Vegas strip and smash hit performances on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent,” Recycled Percussion is taking the Newlin Hall stage by storm, defining a new genre of music called ‘Junk Rock’ by making catchy beats on bizarre, everyday objects.  Formed in 1995 by band leader Justin Spencer, Recycled Percussion combines extreme percussion, engaging humor and extraordinary athleticism similar to that of STOMP and Blue Man Group. The band has played over 4,000 shows in more than 15 countries, and also done guest appearances on “Carson Daly,” “The Today Show,” and the Latin Grammy Awards.”

This event will take place at Center College’s Norton Center for the Arts on September 23rd at 7:30 pm.
