The first ever Phoenix Festival is at The Isaac Murphy Memorial Art Garden on October 6 at 5:30 pm.
"The Phoenix Festival is an opportunity for Lexington to remember and celebrate the East End's rich racing history which took place at the Kentucky Association race track.
The Phoenix Stakes, the oldest stakes race in America, originated at the KA track, and is now a featured stakes race on the opening day of Keeneland's fall meeting."
