Holler 56 features the debuts of John James, Academy of American Poets Prize winner and Bellarmine professor and J. Kates, poet, literary translator and the president and co-director of Zephyr Press (his chapbook Metes and Bounds was published by Lexington’s Accents Publishing). Scott Whiddon, the front man for Lexington rock band Palisades, will provide the music.

Open mic starts  at 8pm, signups begin at  7pm.
