Alfalfa is hosting a New Year’s Day Brunch on January 1 at 10 am.

The full menu will be available as well as these specials:
House bagels, house cured salmon , poached eggs, orange fennel salad and herbed cream cheese.

Hot Brown Shrimp and Grits: Shrimp, flank steak, bacon, onions and roasted peppers in spicy creole butter over blackened grit cakes topped with Swiss mornay sauce, diced tomato, scallion and red chili sauce.

Elvis Cakes: Peanut butter graham cracker pancakes with house marshmallow cream and chocolate covered banana bacon nuggets.

Brown Bread French Toast: 4 points of house molasses brown bread dipped in French toast batter with orange mascarpone cream, cinnamon butter and candied ginger.
