The 2015 Cincinnati International Wine Festival is March 5-7.

The Cincinnati International Wine Festival is a a charitable, non-profit organization founded in 1991 to promote the wine industry and raise funds for local charities. Each year the festival has grown with increasing winery participation, events and attendance.

The 25th annual  Cincinnati Wine Festival includes Winery Dinners, Grand Tastings, the Charity Auction & Luncheon, and the Russ Wiles Memorial Golf Tournament. Through these events the Wine Festival has donated over $4.2 million dollars to local charities over the past twenty-four years.

Grand Tastings

March 6: 6:30 – 9 pm

March 7: 2:30 – 4:30 pm & 6:30 – 9 pm

March 6-7 at the Duke Energy Convention Center, there will be more than 700 wines from over hundreds of wineries are available to sample, along with food and a silent auction. The Grand Tastings are the centerpiece of the Cincinnati International Wine Festival. New, rare, and exotic wines from around the world are available for tasting. Whether you’re a seasoned expert or an intrigued beginner, winemakers and winery representatives welcome you as they mix useful knowledge with samples of their art.

At the Special Tasting Room, there will be 7 tastes of high end wines for one hour only prior to each Grand Tasting.

Charity Auction & Luncheon

March 7, 2015 at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza (35 West Fifth Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202).

9:30 am: Champagne Reception & Silent Auction

11 am: Live Auction followed by Winery Luncheon

The silent auction features a  catalog of limited-release bottles, winemaker-signed large format bottles, rare wines from the cellars of notable Cincinnatians, chef’s table dining opportunities at Cincinnati homes, wine cellar tours, and more.

A gourmet luncheon with cuisine from the Hilton Netherland’s Chef Todd Kelly follows the Auction. Each table is hosted by a winery representative pouring a selection of wines to pair with your three course meal.  Advance online tickets December 1 – March 1.
