Kevin Nance, Hunt-Morgan House, presented by the Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation
Chicago-based photographer and former Lexington Herald-Leader journalist Kevin Nance will be the featured artist at the historic Hunt-Morgan House in Gratz Park as part of Lexington’s Gallery Hop on June 20, 2014
About 35 of Nance's framed prints, ranging from street photography and art photography to landscapes and skyscapes, will be on exhibit. Also available for purchase will be a substantial group of Kevin’s unframed prints, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Blue Grass Trust for Historic Preservation.
Nance was a reporter, feature writer, arts writer, critic and columnist at the Herald-Leader for a decade (1988-1998) before joining the Nashville Tennessean and, later, the Chicago Sun-Times, where he was the art and architecture critic. Since 2012, he has been a full-time freelance writer and photographer, with work appearing in the Chicago Tribune, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, World Wildlife Magazine, Poets & Writers Magazine, Chicago Gallery News, etc.
