Kudos to Rutheford Campbell for his insightful article on George Harrison [Dec.6] and, specifically, sidemen in general.

As a thirty year plus section player (almost twenty with the Met Blues), it was gratifying to read about us guys on the backline. May I single out such great locals as Rick Baldwin, Tim Welch, and scores of other "in the pocket players." A shot and a beer on us, R.C.

Also, thank you for the kind works and photo of the Justin Earle show, though the lovely Ms. Mary was far too back in the shadows.
