UK’s basketball team suffered a major loss today, as Alex Poythress will be forced to miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.

Poythress was injured during practice Thursday on a breakaway layup without contact. The injury may force Coach Cal to rethink his platoon system.

Poythress averaged 5.5 points and 3.8 rebounds on 20 minutes of action per game on the season.
