Lexington Poet Nikky Finney wins National Book Award in NYC

Lexington poet Nikky Finney wins the National Book Award for poetry in tonight’s ceremony in New York City.

Finney, an Affrilachian poet, teaches at the University of Kentucky. Her prize-winning collection is Head Off & Split.
