Three Best of Lexington Chefs to participate in James Beard Celebrity Chef dinners at World Equestrian Games


The three chefs voted the BEST of Lexington by Ace Readers  will all participate in the James Beard Celebrity Chef Series at the World Equestrian Games.

Jonathan Lundy (of Jonathan at Gratz Park) was voted Best Chef. Runners Up were Chef Jeremy Ashby and Chef Ouita Michel.

Azur Restaurant (Chef Jeremy Ashby) was voted tops in the Best Fine Dining category. Holly Hill Inn (Chef Ouita Michael) was voted Best Restaurant for Eating Locally.

Jonathan Lundy is the first chef in the series scheduled for the James Beard Celebrity Chef Dinners at the Games, on September 25. He is paired with Michael Schwartz and Traci Des Jardins.

Chef Jeremy Ashby is scheduled for October 6, and will be paired with Bernard Guillas and Jose Garces.

Ouita Michel (and Dean Corbett of Louisville’s Equus) are scheduled for October 16, and are paired with Christopher Lee and Michael Cimarusti.
